Back To School 2: The Son of Rodney Dangerfield
Well, I finished my first full week of college, needless to say i'm a little overwhelmed. Out of the 4 professors I have, I like 3 of them. I am also learning how much older I really am than the other students and after my first session in sociology 100, it looks like these young kids will be doomed to repeat the mistakes of our past. My teacher who happens to be african-american is a W.E.B Dubois addict and doesn't seem too clear on both lectures she's given as to what we will be doing in class. Listening to my class mates in this particular class has me shaking my head in dispair, do any these people watch TV or read? are they not the MTV generation? what a bunch of buffoons( yes, thats a very OLD word LOL ). Thank Shazam this is my pre-req and then I'm out of there! I have a very interesting view of this new generation since I've gone back to school and it really doesn't give me any kind of hope to think some migh tbe our future leaders (eek!). Or, I could just be a crusty old goat who won't change his ways ( my wife will say this last statement :). I am happy I went back, I am happy I'm understanding the new material, I'm just not happy to see the same old dummies except these are carrying cell phones.

I remember some friends of mine when I was in college who I considered old since they had several years of work experience already. I'm guessing now they were probably in their late 20's at the time. I can't imagine how the young bucks would consider me age-wise if I went back but I'm guessing it would have the word fossil in it.
LOL a fossil to these kids is "In Living Color " LOL
NYPD Blue too LOL
We have a young kid at work who didn't know what Seinfeld was when I made a reference to the magic bullet episode the other day. That really did blow my mind!
