The White Whale

Growing up in my household wasn't always easy, but one thing for sure, it was never boring. For most of my childhood i spent with my dad he would take me on some pretty crazy trips throughout MI but my favorite times were going car shopping. My father loved to look at unique cars and sometimes he would even purchase them on occasion. One of my best memories growing up was driving around the state looking at cars he might be interested in. There was one in particular that has been burned in my mind since the day i saw it, its unique features and shape have changed how I view American cars since i was ten. The Citroen DS was the one car, in my mind that my dad let get away. he would go the rest of his life never owning one and that saying a lot considering all the cars we owned growing up( we never owned a new car, but the cars we did have, nobody had even heard of them in our neighborhood). All my life that car my dad and i saw for sale at a farm in Ann Arbor of all places, has haunted me since. As an adult my father and I never saw eye to eye again, he moved away to California and was murdered there 10 years later. I never got to purchase that car either we saw so long ago, I wanted to and still do, I guess,to seek out that "White Whale", so here is a promise pops, when i return to the working world and before i die of old age or grumpiness, that car will be mine! buahhahhahah! take a look at my all time favorite and be astounded!
