Hollywood Hacks
Since I first wasted my hard earned cash in seeing Highlander 2 (and if u have seen it, u know my pain) i have turned into a really bitter movie goer, sure there have been some abosolutley fantastic films since the above piece of crap was released but for every great movie that was released there are hundreds of movies that should never have seen light of day. With the recent union problems with the WGA the Entertainment news ( HAH !! they call it news !! ) has been warning the other half of the good movie famine problems ( us ) that their shows and films will suffer . This s the funniest thing ive ever heard!!!! . Are they telling us viewers that we wont be force fed crap at the movie theater ? or flood our TVs with the worst shows on the planet? Tell us that the 9.25 we pay at the ticket office will be reduced, tell us that the $100 bucks we spend to watch shitty cable will be cut 100% ( im still amazed i pay to watch TV ) . If we the public stop watching crap the writers strike might mean something for once. Thank the stars Seinfeld is off the air or we might really have a problem.

I feel your pain on Highlander 2.
I subscribe to Netflix so I haven't been to a movie theater in over two years. I can sit in an easy chair, pause whenever I want to go get some more snacks, never get interrupted by cellphones or late arrives and only pay around $1.25 for my entire family to watch the movie instead of $30. I'll never go back to a movie theater again.
I also don't have cable and don't watch much television anymore. That's probably why I don't give a squat about the strike going on. Now if Seinfeld were still on, I might have cared some...
