It's their fault for my stupidity !

Having got rid of our huge cable bill has been some what of a relief , with that said, the few channels I DO have aren't worth watching, but every once in a while I catch the TRUTV channel which has big murder trials or gigantic law suits. One in particular caught my attention. A woman is sueing SEA-DOO for 48.5 million dollars for the death of her only daughter. It turns out the mothers employer was having a party at the employers' house when her daughter was givien the OK to ride the jet-ski by the son of the employer. She then drove it around the lake and then accidentally bored head on into the dock killing her instantly. Tragic? yes, SEA_DOO"S fault, hardly. Here are some facts. First: the girl didn't know how to ride the damn thing, Second: the son of her mothers employer let her get on ( Idiotic), Third: The girl never said she didnt know how to ride it either, again, idiotic. The mother of this poor girl says that SEA-DOO did not have a warning sticker stating the danger of the machine visible enough for her to see. Can you believe that !?. How many times do we as a government keep letting citizens get away with irresponssbility?. That is all this comes down to. Someone gets on a jet ski which they know nothing about and kills them self on it , then blames somone else for their fuck up. I must be crazy. The young girl wanted to try something fun, the young boy (in his late teens) thought she knew what she was doing ( why, i dont know) all this is a terrible accident brought on by dimwits plain and simple. While i can never imagine losing a child, let alone my only one this is an example of how careless we are as people. The mother has not yet justified were she was during the matter and it's proven she was not looking out for her young child's saftey as well, when all this went down. I have a dream when we will own up to our own mistakes, even as tragic as this one, and we will cease to be such a crybaby nation blaming so and so every time something doesn't go our way. ......cheers
