20 years backwards?
My highschool reunion is this Saturday, big F...ing deal. Twenty years and I've seen maybe two people in that span since I graduated and when I saw them I never even let them know I saw them LOL. I never knew what all the hoopla was all about anyway, I mean, if you had great friends in school you would see them anyway right, or at least stay in touch? A reunion isn't necessary. I hated highschool I hated getting up at 6 in the morning for weight trainning and then at 3:30 do it all over again at football practice. I hated going from class to class for 6 hours, all on different floors, GOD! that sucked ! I enjoyed hanging out with my buddies from 7th grade, none of them jocks mind you, and having some good times over the years. My only problem was I needed something beyond my small town highschool. I had average grades and my parents couldn't afford to put me in college after sending my two older sisters. I didnt want to go to college anyway after highschool, I just wanted to sleep in LOL. So now I get this email about the reunion and all those old feelings come up again. Why the hell would I want to go back after 20years to see people I never really cared about in the first place?

I've never been to a high school reunion either. I guess if I ever do go, it will be to see if those people who I thought would never amount to anything ever did amount to anything.

High school!! Christian Slater and Winona Ryder in Heathers. If you haven't seen it it's worth a look. Kind of sums up my feelings about high school. I'm Slater of course.
