Religulastic !

I've just returned from seeing Religulous, damn near amazing! The film sums up everything in one definition. "Religion: The sale and promotion of and invisible object." Why so many people on this planet choose to behave in such a way, and not be committed to an asylum, is beyond my comprehension. Also, while I brought asylum up, if so many are in there for hearing "voices" why are they not allowed out to rum amuck like the rest of the "believers" out there? If a man said he was told by GOD to sacrifice his son and did so in the 21st century, would he not go to jail? Why do people need to attend church to hear someone else preach to them what is already in the bible? Can't they just read it at home if they have one and get the same info? I could go on, but I'd be preaching, and GOD KNOWS, I don't want to be accused of that LOL...Layta
